1.    Objectives and key missions:

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to take over the management, security, and evolution of our IT landscape. You will bridge the gap between traditional infrastructure (Network/System) and modern practices (Cloud, IaC, Automation). Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Group Director, you will play a key role in ensuring our systems are robust, secure, and scalable.

His main responsibilities are:

·       Design & Deliver Infrastructure Solutions

·       Enable SysOps Practices & Automation

·       Ensure Operational Excellence

·       Standardize & Document Processes

2.    Key activities:

Build (Project / Implementation - 40%)

·       Design & Implement: Architect scalable infrastructure & applicative solutions on Azure & GCP and on-premise environments.

·       Modernization: Drive the shift to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) to standardize deployments. Contribute to infrastructure evolution by evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies. Ensure infrastructure is aligned with business needs.

·       Security by Design: Integrate security best practices early in the project lifecycle.

·       Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to align infrastructure with application needs.

Run (Operations / Service Management - 40%)

·       Service Reliability: Manage operational incidents and lead Root Cause Analysis (Problem Management) to prevent recurrence.

·       Change Control: Apply ITIL-based Change Management processes for all infrastructure updates, ensuring security and minimizing downtime.

·       Monitoring: Maintain observability tools (Zabbix/Grafana) to proactively track performance against SLAs.

·       Automation: Automate recurring tasks to reduce "toil" and improve operational efficiency.

Transverse (Process & Quality - 20%)

  • Documentation: Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation and diagrams.
  • Knowledge: Follow procedures & Ensure technical process are UpToDate.
  • Mentoring: Evangelize Automation culture within the tech team.

Profil recherché

     Key skills:

  • Master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience.
  • 5+ years in infrastructure/SysOps roles.

Technical "Must-Haves":

  • System: Deep Linux administration skills (Debian/RHEL) & Windows Server.
  • Network: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, Firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs (Cisco/Meraki environment) & Security Principles.
  • IaC & Automation: Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.
  • Virtualization: Strong experience with VMware & Proxmox

Technical "Nice-to-Haves":

  • Cloud: Experience with [Secondary Cloud provider].
  • Scripting: Bash, Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Security: Knowledge of ISO27001 standards or hardening techniques 

Soft Skills

-          Problem Solver: Analytical mindset with a rigorous approach to troubleshooting.

-          Communicator: Ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders.

English: Professional working proficiency (Written & Spoken) is mandatory

  Internal & External Relations

-        Internal: All teams but works closely with Security, Developers, Product Managers, and Helpdesk/Support staff.

-        External: Manages relationships with Cloud providers, ISPs, and hardware vendors.
