Le poste

To complete our PEDM team in Rennes, we're seeking a Microsoft Windows C++ Developer to join us. In this role, you'll be integral to our WALLIX department, spearheading the advancement and broadening of PEDM, a critical component in Privileged Access Management (PAM). 

 As an engineer you will design, develop, debug and document our application suit for the Microsoft Windows operating systems. 

You'll collaborate closely with a proficient software development team renowned for its expertise in Windows development. 

Gear up for your new adventure, here are your future tasks:  

  • Develop components at the Windows service (user space) and kernel levels,
  • Maintain and evolve already existing Microsoft Windows products,
  • Propose, design, develop & test new features in accord with the Product Manager & the Architect,
  • Interact with the team within an agile framework,
  • Interact with the other departments within Wallix. 

Profil recherché

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: 

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in software development on Microsoft Windows,
  • Good knowledge of C/C++ programming languages,
  • Familiarity with Win32 API and application development using C++,
  • Interest or some exposure to Rust (we’ll help you ramp up),
  • Knowledge of Windows Internals or desire to deepen your expertise in that area,
  • Bonus: basic understanding of LDAP or Microsoft Active Directory,
  • You’re curious, enjoy solving technical challenges, and like to share ideas,
  • Comfortable working in English
